Rugby Schools Coaching Project

With the help of SportEngland funding, Rugby Trampolining Club is embarking on a one-year programme of work to develop the sport of trampolining within schools in the area. We hope to support schools in expanding trampolining provision, developing trampolining coaching skills and establish links for trampolinists to progress beyond school level.

The first event, a subsidised level one teachers' training course, was successfully delivered at Harris on 26 and 27 October.

The first monthly teachers' professional development session begins at 16:45 on Tuesday 7 December at Harris School.

The following courses are being organised, with full details sent to heads of department shortly:

• BG Level One Teachers Course - 13/14 January 2011
• BG Level Two Teachers Course - 10/11 February 2011
• BG Level One and Two Teachers Course (combined) - 13/14 January, 10/11 February 2011
• BG Level One Coach Course - 15 January, 12/13 February 2011. Exam 30 April 2011
